Offering mono-material products as a sustainability option

It is not just about being involved, it’s about that final stage – implementing novelties into a day-to-day processes.

With sustainability becoming an increasingly important aspect of all packaging companies, we need to minimize environmental impact and footprint.

SIBO Group is taking on a challenge to make sustainable caps and shoulders as part of our standard portfolio.

A big part of this story is changing the material on caps and/or shoulders to achieve mono-material packaging and close the recycling loop.

 

Our goal is to provide you with products from different materials without significantly changing the process and dimensions of the product. We have tested and evaluated more than 50% of our products so far. We are happy to announce, that we can produce 35% of our assortment from more than one material and support PE or PP mono-material packaging market.

We are also taking it one step further by testing low melt flow HDPE materials to support the recyclability and demand to enter the bottle recycling stream with our most produced items.

Currently, we can offer a diverse range of products of different diameters (HDPE caps)

or combination of mono-material solutions of cap and shoulder (HDPE caps and shoulders).
